- The jewelry you wear to church shines brighter than the light of God in your soul.
- Your Sunday clothes are kept cleaner than your heart.
- Your Bible is always present, but rarely used.
- You tell people that Jesus is always there for them but you, His reflection, are never around.
- You point out the faults of others boldly and directly, but refuse to acknowledge your own shortcomings.
- The offering you put in the plate every Sunday far outweighs the offerings of prayer and praise you give God all week long.
- You say you would make any sacrifice for God but are unwilling to take a moment out of your time to really reach out to someone in need.
- You know all about how God forgives but are unable to forgive others.
- You know all about God's forgiveness, but you can not forgive yourself.
- You harbor resentment against anyone for anything.
- You wear a Christian T-shirt and a WWJD bracelet, but you do not put on the armor of God.
- You love yourself more than your neighbor.
- You are willing to span the globe on mission trips but are unwilling to tell your friends at home about God.
- You work harder hiding who you are than working on who you should be.
- Your Bible has more dust on it than the 50 year old items in the attic.
- You say you know the Ten Commandments, yet you are cheating on your spouse.
- You go to church more than you pray.
- The only time you ever bother to open your Bible is at church.
- You curse more than you pray.
- Your faith only shows at Christmas and Easter.
- Instead of "Praise God" you say "Dang, I'm good!"
- You have spent more time giving off the appearance of a righteous person than actually making your soul reflect Christ's heart.
"You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?"
-Romans 2:23
