Church and State 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
Just a quick note,

Last Sunday we Celebrated Remembrance day (Veteran's day for those of you in the US). I was going into the sanctuary and one of the members stopped me and asked

  • "Why don't they have the flags in the Sanctuary?"


    • I answered him:

  • "I thought it was a good gesture of the separation of Church and State"


    • He grunted and walked off... hmmm maybe we need to talk a little more about that...

    Well, in the U.S., we often mistake patriotism for Biblical Christianity. In a lot of churches, to be a good Christian is to be a good American.
